After years of selling on Ebay as a hobby and a way to helping me survive on a single pension I cannot see the fairness in the 10% fees on postage , so I now will no choice but to stop listing items for sale. To market-, to market couple of times a year will be a better bet.

really you are going to stop selling on ebay because it might cost you $1.00 more.......just add 11% onto the price of your item.

It is not going to cost you any more.

If you price your postage properly it will be the buyer that pays all your fees.....and I have not seen too many buyers complaining about the fees lately.

The fees on postage have been in place for a long time now, in the main due to sellers who listed items for $1 and charged $30 postage, avoiding paying their fair share of fees.

Until there is a serious competitor to eBay who charges lower fees and has the same buyer coverage threats of leaving eBay and selling elsewhere will have no effect on eBay's position.

As suggested just add a small amount to your prices to compensate.
