Anyone else having a shocking weekend for sales?

I guess there is too much happening elsewhere to be bothered buying stuff on ebay .

This would have to be my worse weekend by far.

I don't have a store but have noticed it's been dead for last week or two, even the boards have been wery qwiet.

Yes, it's been pretty dead for like two weeks, have made more sales through my website than on eBay. I target two groups of buyers and I have decided to stay off eBay for one group for the whole of October, to see how my site goes.

Yep, dead here too. Mind you, things died off very quickly a couple of months ago after I got a negative feedback. Prior to that sales were pretty consistent. Since then, very sporadic.

I don't know mate, I don't really think getting a neg would kill things for you. So long as your FB score isn't 98% or something tragic like that. Look at some of the bigger players, they turnover tons of sales each week, and have shocking feedback.

It's crept back up to 99.7% from 99.4%. I know plenty of people get negs and I accepted it as it was my error (and even said so in the reply), but it just seemed strange that I had consistent sales and then a marked drop off. It's probably just coincidence as plenty of others have been saying their sales have dropped right back too.

I'm not overly concerned as it's far from being my only source of income. After quite a few very busy months, it's nice to have a bit of a breather for awhile. I do feel for those where this is their main or only source of income. It would be very difficult for them indeed. Hopefully with Christmas coming up, things will start to improve for a lot of people.

Yep... Same here... Last 2 weeks have been dreadful.. At least it's not just me. IMHO it's either School Hols or Ebay is playing games again... (still)... My Website is powering along & I'm hoping that it will eventually be my Exit.

Hi Everyone

I have been very quiet on the candle front this weekend Yikes, and just upgraded my store subscription also. Last month was great and this month has been much slower, Maybe school holidays, long weekends & sport finals as others have suggested. Let's hope it picks up as this is my full time business.

We are a little bit down on our daily average over the past couple of weeks.

But weekends are typically slower than weekdays for us.

So not too alarmingly down for us, just a tad slower.

All of your customers are at our seaside town this weekend. Many hundreds, maybe a thousand or more Harleys filling all the motels, caravan parks etc. The roads are clogged with Harleys, pubs full of Harley owners, service stations clogged up with Harleys. All tourers just having a big weekend event and not causing any problems. They are probably not buying patches on ebay this weekend though.
