is anyone else having any probs withdrawing money from paypal

the links to

Add money
Withdraw money
are just not working for me
everything else on paypal is working ok
ive also tried on another computer and same problem
i dont want to ring them as yet as past experiences tell me ill be waiting 1-2 hours
and their email responce times are a joke

I have never had to wait too long for Paypal to answer and have always found them helpful..........sometimes eventualy lol.

Have you tried using a different browser? If that doesn't work I would leave it a few hours and try again, probably a temporary glitch.

You can also try CTRL+F5, sometimes it's a Javascript issue that prevents those kinds of links from working, and hitting that (CTRL+F5) doesn't just refresh the page, but basically re-downloads it without having to go through the whole process of clearing cookies and cache.

I withdrew some money just after 5pm. It worked fine then. I did get 2 scam emails not long after which was a bit concerning. Basically they were emails allegedly from PayPal with ads for clothing in USD. There was a login button and a create account button. There was also an unsubscribe link down the bottom. When I hovered over any of the links it said rs-tk .com ( I deliberately left a space there so as not to create a link). When I hovered over the links in the PayPal email after I withdrew my funds, all the links said paypal.com. I sent them to the spoof email address.

I wonder if there has been a flood of these emails so they are doing some upgrades to the system which might be preventing people from withdrawing? Just guessing.

im still havinng same probs on paypal

its been 3-4 hours now

ive deleted all cookies stuff like that

then i did a system restore on computer

still i can not withdraw money

also most links on my paypal are not working when i press on them

links that are not working for me are

add money

withdraw money

pay or send money

safer shopping with great deals

get the paypal app

but the links up top of page are working fine

any one got any other ideas

also on my second computer its the same can not withdraw money

very frustrating

its never happened to me before in over 10 yrs on here

I was going to suggest trying a different browser, but as you tried on a different computer, there is probably no point. If you're using Internet Explorer, try using Chrome or Firefox.

You probably already tried this, but just in case... try clicking on 'Wallet' instead, it'll load to a different page with a 'Withdraw' link, which I have found to always work even when the one on the summary page doesn't (sorry, slipped my mind earlier otherwise I would have mentioned it before).

Also, if that doesn't work, try switching to the 'Classic Site' (there's a link on the bottom left-hand corner after you've logged in).

i still cant withdraw from paypal its now 14 hours

i just rang them and a man said they are expericing problems

and know about the problem

he said may take a few days to sort out

not good enough paypal

i have bills to pay and cant access my funds to pay for them

I withdrew funds this morning with no problem. Have you checked your acount status to make sure there are no holds in place? Maybe ring Paypal and ask them what the issue is?

I just used another computer and I was able to withdraw...I know you said you tried another computer...But try a third if you can..Or try getting it on your phone...

I tried my phone, by tablet and by safari on both tablet and PC with no luck. Just tried Chrome and finally withdrawal was successful. This seems to be happening more often.

ive now tried my sisters computer shes useing a mac with chrome

still i cant withdraw

3 computers now still no luck

20 hours the problems are still ongoing

It sounds like something strange is going on given that some are having no problems and others, like yourself can't access it. It would have to be more than a technical issue or everyone would be having problems. My withdrawal came through this afternoon in just under 24 hours, so I seem to be OK.

I wonder why it's only certain accounts that are affected? Yesterday I decided to leave feedback for buyers (had been over a week so I thought I'd better leave it for the ones that had left it for me). I always run DSR reports before leaving feedback to see what star ratings they gave to decide which feedback they get. Every report I ran came back with "no results", which usually means the buyer didn't leave a star rating. I thought it weird that after 15, they were all coming up with no result, so I tried an old one that I knew had got a result. Same thing.

I tried my other account and they worked OK (that's open in a different browser). Logged out of that one and into my main one in the other browser, still got the no result. Ebay can't tell my why it's happening with one account but not the other. Maybe it's just one of those temporary glitches that eventually rights itself. Hopefully it's the same with the PayPal issue and it eventually rights itself for those affected.....preferrably sooner rather than later!

More fun with PayPal!

I recently refunded someone who decided they didn't want an item (a $50 game), and instead of using my PayPal funds to refund the buyer, of course not, it takes it out of my practically empty "keep-me-verified" bank account, putting it in the red and giving me a nice dishonour fee on top of it. What the #uck, PayPal?

And still waiting for the buyer to confirm they have received the refund so I can get my FVFs back. Maybe as the icing on the cake, eBay can give me a defect for cancelling too!
