How long does paypal take to close a case?

Last week I had an overseas buyer open an item not received claim through paypal (not ebay). The purchase was over 2 months ago. I promptly uploaded a receipt and an international registered post label with their name and address. That was four days ago and it's still at the 'being reviewed by paypal' stage. I would have thought this was sufficient proof of shipment but they haven't closed the case and released my money.

It can take upto 30 days

I've heard of one case taking a month for a review, but about a week appears to be the norm.

You can always call PayPal and ask them about it.

Depending on where you were posting to, sometimes proof of shipment isn't enough, you also have to prove delivery. If it was sent registered, what does the tracking number say?
