Can't access Pay Pal - Anyone else?

I can't log into my account, can't acsess the site, I tried to buy an item off ebay and no luck reaching the server. Anyone else having this issue?

I had been unable to access Pay Pal account for a few weeks as it would not accept my password. I rang Pay Pal this week and was told to change my password. An email was sent to me while the rep was on the phone giving me a link to aquire a security code to change my password. The link did not work on my computer so the rep advised me to close the account and open a new one. He said he could close it for me and I agreed. (Phew I'm out of breath, what a rigmarole).

Anyway I opened a new paypal account but they wouldn't accept the credit card that I had been using for the past 10 years to pay them. I had to use another cc to get the account opened and pay for goods that I had purchased 5 days beforehand (a patient seller). The thing is I don't want to use this cc to pay. Maybe they will let me change it later.

Thanks for listening to my rant. As I said I have had a PP account for a long time and have never encounered problems before. I wander whats going on.

You can add another credit or debit card any time you like....just make it Primary. Just make sure it is accepted properly before yu remove the card that is working now.

You cannot use the same card on 2 different paypal accounts although they may allow you to put the card back on that you were using on the original paypal account. If you want to do that I suggest you ring them and explain what happened and have them do it for you. Too many attempts at changing cards that are not accepted may well flag your account as suspect.

My original account probably hadn't closed when I opened the new one. I will try your suggestion.
