BIN vs Best Offer

What is the procedure selling Bin with best offer? do you just wait till the end of the listing and either accept or decline the best offer, or if you get an offer you consider OK do you accept it at that time and close the listing.

Sorry if it seems a silly question but I have never sold with "Best offer:" before, made a few on purchases but never had one accepted so I'n in the dark,

Thanks for that, I searched tha help files and could not find that Info, getting old and blind I think!
