Does blocking a bidder also stop them from messaging you?

That depends on if messages have already been exchanged between the two partys.

Not always...

We have found that some blocked bidders/buyers are still able to contact us about why they are blocked even when there has been no prior communication.

Thanks for the replies. Ok....so does anyone know how to stop them either replying to an earlier message or sending a new one?

Don't reply. Just ignore them. They'll go away eventually

I had one who just would not stop so I contacted EBay not sure what they did but it stopped then

Don't believe there is anything you can do but ignore their messages and hope they go away.
