Hi,

I have been asked by a bidder to cancal their bid (which is the highest at this stage) as they have decided they aren't coming to Australia anymore and don't require my product for sale. How do I do this (if possible) without incurring fees by outbidding the last bid or cancelling the auction as i still want it to proceed?

Regards,

Amanda

If there are more than 12 hours left, I ask the bidder to cancel the bid and give them a link for retractions.

That way it is recorded on their account.

Retractions - http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/buy/bidding-overview.html

Less than 12 hours in an auction, the seller needs to retract unless the bidder does it within 1 hour of placing the bid.
