You just need to re-enter the listing and submit it as normal (i.e. click on the saved draft, and it will go to the full listing page, if no further info or adjustments are required, proceed to the next step and submit the listing).

Retrieving Finished Draft & Posting Finished Ad?

New seller here. I've created, edited, and saved the draft of my very first item. However, I can't find where to actually get the ad to go live. The instructions say;

To save a draft of an unfinished listing:

If you need to leave the listing form before completing your listing, don't worry. We'll automatically save the unfinished draft for you as you leave the listing form.

When you're ready to finish your listing, return to eBay and click Sell.

In the Finish your draft listing section, click the Complete button or the title of your draft listing. You can then complete the listing.

But... There is NO option marked ""Finish" and/or "Complete" on the retrieved draft ad screen. Assuming I've finished my ad and included all relevant details, where do I find the "Post Ad Now" option"?

Thanks in advance guys.

Thank you for your timely response! Much appreciated. 🙂

THE most important step in posting your finished ad is one eBay (in their wisdom LOL) don't advise you of. You have to request a 4-digt code by SMS and enter it to "authorise" your ad before you can post it.

I must say that eBay manages to post the most unhelpful help [sic] I've ever seen.

I created a new account a couple of months ago and the first thing I did was link it to my other 2 accounts to get the higher selling limit (from 10 to 30). I also linked it to my existing PayPal account. When I listed my first item it wanted the 4 digit code. This account I was going to set up because I wanted to reply to an eBay message, but it also wanted the 4 digit code, and then I lost interest. The message wasn't that important.

I logged in at a friends place (on my computer via their wifi) a few months back and when I logged into eBay, it wanted a 4 digit code, so maybe they're doing it as an increased security thing? I stupidly accessed my PayPal account while I was there and it insisted I changed my password as it detected an unfamiliar IP address.
