Shipping: May not ship to Australia ???

I'm a new seller in AUSTRALIA and found the section dominated by US post a little daunting, but managed to struggle through with a basic flat rate of $2. My listing says "

Shipping: May not ship to Australia

and no $2 mentionedunder shipping

What is going on? Can someone from Australia please lead me through the maze so I can actually post to my own country.

Are you sure you're doing your listings under .com.au? The Aussie site

and not just .com? The US site

Yes, sounds like you are listing on .com not .com.au

If you are listing correctly why would US postage even appear anywhere on the site?

I think you have somehow strayed onto the US site.

Yes, it was the .com site. Like I said I'm new, so I a now educated.
