I think someone said that to switch to advanced mode, you need to click the link to create a new listing, then type in car in the title box. It should then give you the motors category and tell you it can't be listed with that listing page and offer to switch you to advanced. It was something like that any way!

EDIT: Found the answer - need to switch to advanced mode. Sorry but can't find a way to delete this thread

Wondering if anyone could tell me why I cannot list an item with variations?

I have checked a similiar item that is selling with variations and am using the exact same category.

Is quite frustrating really.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2016-AFL-SELECT-FOOTY-STARS-EXCEL-PARALLEL-CARDS-YOU-CHOOSE-EP192-to-EP220-/112162575842?var=&hash=item1a1d6915e2:m:mzSqStbF-AY9peIZss3xHEg

The above is the item that has variations. I am trying to sell in the same category but nada

Thanks in advance
