Aus post all new low

So now aus post are not even trying to deliver I received an email saying my packages would be delivered yesterday and stayed in all day only to receive another email saying they are at a collection centre 20 min away and I need to pick the up. No attempt to deliver.

I think a lot of buyers will be very unhappy about this new lack of service from aus post

Was it a legit email?

I get emails about stuff and they are fake.

Yes all real emails. The packages were there just picked em up but why didn't they deliver

What was the reason they gave when you picked them up?

Maybe given the volume of parcels this time of year it's just not possible to hand deliver each one. Do you have a closer post office or agency? If so, sign up to My Post and use parcel collect to get them delivered to your closer PO (just don't go to collect at peak time because it takes a bit of time to scan the item out - I stopped counting at 50 steps on the scanner). At least if you know your parcels are being delivered there, you don't have to sit at home waiting, you can go and collect them at your leisure.
