Hi i have an item on auction the same bidder has placed the same amount eight times why?

It's not the same amount.....their higher bids won't show unless there is another bidder

They might have only placed eight bids in 50c increments.

Hoping to scare people into thinking they're serious about the item

and want it at all costs.

they are new to eBay, and appear to have only bid on one item since joining. Maybe they bid $200 on your item then decided they would bid $205, but when the bid did not jump to $205 they thought it didn't register so they bid again, and again, and again, until they gave up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe if you are the 1st bidder you can up your bid by 1c increments.......making it look like you're prepared to go a lot higher.....

You have got the delivery just about right. Only bit I would change would be about buers contacting their own freight company. If they arrange the freight and pay for it then you do not have the same seller protection with Paypal as it counts as a pick up delivery. I would only send freight if the delivery charge was included in the buyer's invoice.
