Anyone tried using Shippit to send parcels?

I am always looking for a cheaper way to send my poster overseas as I hate getting slugged for the AP's 500g price just to send a piece of paper. I saw this company in the news today:

Looks good for a small business but does anyone know how it goes with Shipping Rates?

My understanding is that Shipit is a logistics company that uses numerous different couriers/carriers, including Australia Post, to ship your goods.

It is an Aussie version of Pitney Bowes if you like.

Oh right, thanks for that. Sounds like it will be useless for me then.

I've already gone around to countless businesses to get prices and no one can even come close to Australia Post's prices.

Shippit essentially are courier brokers they want you to pay a monthly fee for discounted couriers & high tech tracking. There are a few different shipping broker websites you can use which don't charge a fee & offer essentially the same service with out the high tech BS. I use interparcel.com.au they use startrack, couriers please, Ups, fed ex etc, which depending on the item and courier can be cheaper than Australia Post.
