Real or scam?

I had an item up for sale and got an email that it was bought but checked PayPal and no money was deposited so figured the buyer cHanged his mind but soon got an email from him saying he has paid and when can he expect delivery so called PayPal and still no money so emailed buyer and advised of situation. After two weeks I got another email from buyer wanting his item. Can someone tell me if this is a scam please?

Ring paypal again. There have been a number of reports of paypal payments being reversed almost as soon as they have been received.

It is not necessarily a scam on the buyer's part but a mess up with paypal.

You may want to double-check that you've typed in the correct PayPal address to receive your funds.

Did you upgrade your Paypal Account to receive payments? You need to do this if you are selling.

Email the buyer and ask them if they can provide you with PayPal transaction number or a copy of their payment. Just let them know that you haven't received any funds.
