Sent invoice including postage but buyer picked up

I sent an invoice to a buyer quoting postage of $8, but the buyer has just called in, paid the purchase price and taken the record. As it stands, eBay will charge me a commission on the postage (which wasn't paid). How can I change the situation so that I don't pay the excess commission?

Send a revised invoice removing the postage component.

Just let the buyer know what you are doing and why or they might think you are asking for payment.

Then after the revised invoice is sent, mark it as paid and mark it as sent.

That concludes the transaction and you can leave feedback if you wish.
