Just looking through some Ebay searches and I see there many listings which have the first few lines of the product info directly below the title.

When did this happen and how do I do this?

Not new. They're called subtitles and will cost you $2 per listing for a store.

$2.20 for a non-store

But they're whole sentences, some 2 lines long and they most say the EXACT same thing as the first sentences in the description.

It looks so weird, I swear I haven't noticed it that way before or maybe it's just more prominently configured.

I dunno.

A seller is supposed to write the condition the item is in and it doesn't cost anything extra.

Most categories require you to do this.

Thanks Stawks. They look so weird because the text is taken from the middle of the description.

I do not feel as though my seller experience has been enhanced.

And neither has my buyer experience Cushions.

Just more to wade through before getting to the nitty gritty of the description.

IMO it is only going to turn buyers off reading the full description...they will think they have all the information they need.
