100 freebies and new month

Just wondering about when we roll over into August.

Do you think we'll need to use the monthly 40 before the 100 daily? if so, won't leave anything for the rest of the month.

Also, just a little suspicious here that this could be the end of freebies for a while. Last time something like this happened we didn't get any for months.

Just wondering what others are thinking.

I haven't used many of the freebies as people just aren't buying in july from either of my ids. fair enough you can click repeat 3/4 times though, so that would last several months. I think the 100 daily finishes 5/8 from memory....

But people always want to second guess intangibles.

I would guess that the 100 per day, given they pre-date the 40, would take precedence.

But I also don't know. Nor does anybody else on the boards, so I assume the OP is a paranoid member or an advertiser

Haha. Sorry Dave. No, not paranoid and certainly not an advertiser. Just a private seller trying off load personal items. Sorry to disappoint you.

Are we no longer allowed to wonder allowed? Will find out soon enough anyway.

I actually thought my musings mght help members from wasting their 40 if they might nerd them later on in the month. 🙂

As our 40 freebies got used up before the 100 kicked in, I would assume that on the 1st, the 40 will get used before the 100. I don't care, with the 100 per day for the last month, I don't need the 40 anyway. I'll be glad to have a rest for a few weeks. I've been hammered with sales the last 4 weeks.

Tried one out this morning on the first, yes they are comming off the 40 monthly ones first.
So they can keep there freebies. Done enough of them, but were handy after taking everything off for holidays.

Typical eBay. Even when they give us something they stuff it up.

Normal promotions go in order of those available first get used first.

This one couldn't even keep count, so I suppose it's no surprise it is not available at a point to be useful to anybody wanting to list anything for the month after the 5th.

Has everyone noticed that we've got another 100 for the 6th? The promo was supposed to end on the 5th so maybe the 100 a day is permanent.

I haven't checked mine since midnight, but I did notice that the last 100 I got was from 00.00 5/8 to 00.00 6/8, whereas the promotion said it ended at 23.59.59 5/8. Is yours saying another 100 for the 6th?

The T&C's say it can be withdrawn at any time. I can live with them withdrawing it but I'd really like to be able to save some of my 40 for later in the month. That part of the terms may be just to cover themselves in case they decided to withdraw it at some distant future time.

I used all this months 40 on one account last night and after that they didn't come off yesterday's 100. The negative numbers were moving, as in the 89 -90, would go to 90 -91. It went over 100 so not sure what the go is there. The 100 left didn't move at all. I'm about to check that account shortly to see if it's still there and then list an item to see what happens (actually I will end an item I meant to end and relist last night that is due to end in 3 days on its last auto relist). If it looks like I'm going to pay an insertion fee, I won't send it live.

I've been listing today. It used the 40 first and then it's coming off the 100.
