Adding photos to Ebay listing description - http error

In the past I have always linked to my photos that are uploaded to my own personal website. Now I am getting a security error or http error. Is this not allowed anymore?

Is there any other way to include photos in the item description?

This shows how to change the html link from http to https, but my website isn't https. If I change it to that then it doesn't work

You'll have to buy an SSL certificate which your hosting site should be able to provide.

(they should also be able to provide installation guidance or do it for you)

You only need the cheapest option which should be about $30 or less for 12 months.

Why do you need photos in the description? You can add 12 photos as photos, why do you need to add them in the description as well? I know I am not alone when I say that photos doubled up in the description can't get me hitting the back button quick enough. If I want to look at photos, I look at the photo gallery. Description photos suck.

Normally I hate the giant scroller photos in the description and like you, hit the back button, but the OP has used them sparingly and effectivly. I dont mind the way they have used photos in their description, it looks quite proffesional.

Your host can sell you a SSL certificate which will allow you to use HTTPS. (Are you using Hostgator? they charge about $35/year for a basic certificate)
