According to Australia Post the corret postcode for Darwin is 0828.

Do you have a suburb to put in....AP may accept the postcode if it it for a suburb of Darwin.

Alternately, put Darwin City with the 0800 postcode.

0800 only covers the Darwin City central area. 0801 covers Darwin City PO Boxes. Govt Depts, Etc.

Other than that you will need to match your street name to particular suburb and Postcode.

Put your street and NT in google search.

You will get several options, at least one of them will be AP's official postcode for your address, which is what eBay uses.

You might think you live in Darwin, but you may well live in a suburb. 0800 seems to only run from the top of the hill at the Gardens, down through to the port. And all the harbour and half the Arafura Sea.

So what have you ended up with? Darwin with a different postcode or a suburb with the 0800 postcode.

This is what everyone was trying to tell you right from the beginning.

Not sure why but when I logged in again last night it just worked with 0812.
