I'm not upto speed with all the new social media outlets but have noticed an increasing trend for businesses (e.g. Maccas, Bing Lee, anything) to advertise the fact that they're on Facebook. At first, I thought, 'what's the big deal?' After a while, I realised that whenever someone "likes" something on Facebook, it's sent to everyone of their friends.
