Hi all,

I have a basic ebay store and I get free fixed listings but with auction style listings, it is $3++. Alot of sellers (although its US sellers) are saying auction style listings are more effective, so wanted to know, how as an ebay store, to be able to do auction style listing without paying the $3.30 fee.

Any help or info is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Unless you have 100+ listings with a good sell-through rate you're wasting your money on a store, better to go with an ordinary selling account and get the 40 free listings (if you're eligable for that many on a new account).

Is listing clothes in collectibles allowed?

No.

Incorrect categories regularly get reported.

Buyers are fed up with having to search through a lot of irrelevant items when listed incorrectly.

As padi suggests, or list as BIN's.

Many buyers don't want to wait until an auction finishes and auctions don't get a lot of bids like they used to.

Often better to list as BIN with a price you are happy with.

This also means rather than each listing only being 10 days you can list for 30 days as BIN.

Just saw you only appear to have 1 listing, it's a waste of money to have a store.

You can close the store and re-open it when you have a lot more listings.

If you do list any auctions, make certain that your starting price is the minimum price you would be happy to accept.

Also note that on eBay.com.au, the reserve price option is only available for vehicles listed in the Cars, Motorcycles and Boats categories on eBay Motors.
