How to cancel a sale without getting defect?

I offer free postage on some items within Australia and do not sell to International buyers anymore. I have just had a new buyer from Egypt purchase and it is showing as free postage. They could easily buy the same item in Cairo...like I did!

How do I cancel the order without getting a defect? I cancelled an order a few days ago which a buyer requested I do and that was the option I chose and I received a defect...my first one.

ring ebay & get the 'defect' removed....

cancel order with reason "do not post to this address"

I cancelled the order and chose the "something wrong with the address option".

Just got an email from ebay to say that I have agreed to cancel the order and the buyer has 10 days to agree. Also, to refund the payment although they haven't paid.

Looks like I will have to contact ebay.
