Fulfilio don't have any quotes on their website at all, so there's no way to know if people would be saving any money doing it through eBay instead, since both have to be by arrangement, with quotes provided afterwards.

Those are about the prices you pay at the top-tier discounted rate via My Post (regional areas excepted), but DIY means more time, and packaging costs as well. I expect for most, if they are prepared to trust that to a third party (I'm not) any value would be all in the time saving, and possibly qualifying for things like guaranteed delivery (I haven't really been paying attention to it, so don't know if this has become a thing, except maybe occasionally handy for time sensitive items).

I find this INFURIATING. I have so many items for sale, and it seems impossible to keep track of whether ‘best offer’ is on or off. And yes, you can go through on one round and disable the best options function (ps - easiest to do on an iPad as it is a quicker function than back and forward between pages through a laptop), but then it re-lists and seems to add the offer status again.I feel so sorry for sellers who are trying to sell items from genuine shops, not second hand goods that might have some leniency.

I have been putting a generic message on the bottom of my item descriptions saying “Please ignore best offer feature, changes to Ebay’s Listing have made it available. Price firm”. Or, “please dont be offended if I reject your offer; eBay has changed its settings making it hard to deselect best offer”.

If people send offers, I just tell them to kindly go back and “read the description”. Some of them ignore it anyway, waste of time.

Surely there’s some way for us to rally this to eBay?? HOw the hell do they gather user feedback? This system is ridiculous. I get low-ball offers all the time, have to monitor the relisting merticulously and constantly explain this to people making offers. eBay SHOULD go back to how it was originally - firm price, and if you want offers, you select that you want them.

Another auto-feature they seem to have implemented is automatically selecting pickup available!

You can bulk edit to remove the feature, but eBay will often put it back. You have to be careful because they will often also put in an auto accept amount, for 50% of the price. They kept doing it to one of my listings. It's long sold now, but if the price was $40, I put auto accept at $39.98 and Auto reject at $39.97. It kept them happy. The eventual buyer just bought I believe.
