Hey,

Yesterday I received a message from Ebay:

"Hello lls_aus,

Further to our warning initially sent, we've determined that you still are not following our Third-party fulfillment policy. As a result, your selling privileges have been restricted for 14 days.

My partner called them and they said we were providing our client's information to a third-party. We are drop shippers and dropshipping is allowed o Ebay, so It doesn't make any sense.

After that, I tried myself call them. This time the attendant told me we were providing misleading information to our clients like invoices or packing lists with other companies name. I told them I could provide all the invoices under our company's name but she said they had done an "investigation" and they found out that. I then asked how could they know what my clients were receiving and again she goes with the "investigation".

Today I called my TWO and only suppliers and they DON'T send any information at all in the parcel.

Does anyone know how to get this sorted? Ebay customer service doesn't seem to be able to help a lot.

Nope.

Less stressful to just sit out the 14 days.

Sometimes ebay does unusual things.

But I would be asking for clarification so you don't do it again. Whatever it is.

Two things stand out to me in your post -

We are drop shippers and dropshipping

and

Today I called my TWO and only suppliers and they DON'T send any information at all in the parcel.

If you are the dropshippers, why is someone else sending the parcel?

Dropshippers are the ones who have the goods to forward on.

That means you are using a third party as ebay says you are

I'm confused.

Maybe someone else has better knowledge.

Kopes, this appears to be a second warning.

If they keep going after the 14 days, then their selling privileges might be restricted permanently

I think seller means they are dropship sellers.

So they sell and get their supplier to send to buyer.

Wow, it astounds me how that can happen so fast.
At least it's only a finger and not so important one at that. (just have to use the other hand if you see Trump) 🙂
I know someone recently ignored their infected toe and recently had leg amputated just below the knee.

Third-party fulfilment means that someone else holds your inventory and prepares and sends your orders for you. This can be through an arrangement with:

A warehousing/logistics company – i.e. you engage them to provide services such as inventory storage, handling, packing, postage and customer service, or
A supplier – i.e. you buy stock and work with them to send items directly to buyers (also known as drop shipping).

I remember you said it was nodules, I think it's referred to as Bouchard's nodes.

I feel that maybe eBay is testing the OP/seller as drop shipping is allowed but third party dealing direct with the buyer is not.

This could have come about with the recent crack down on off eBay sales. I am guessing eBay are now testing dropshippers on this policy.

OP. I think the best is to get eBay to advise what course of action is needed to avoid future sanctions.

That will put it back on ebay and having requested procedures to avoid such by your account may take you off the flagged list.

I agree that they should get ebay to call them back, not ring them.

They'll get someone with more knowledge if they use the call me back option.

Sorry to hear about your finger Stawks, but you've got 2 hands. You'll just have to wave goodbye with your other hand.

OP, do as advised by the very knowledgable imastawka and get in touch with eBay using the call me back option. It's your only hope. You are wasting time by emailling, as you get a bot generated reply.

I clicked on a few of your listings. There is no mention you are drop shipping. That in itself is a no no. You must reveal to buyers that you are drop shipping. Yes, eBay allows drop shipping, but your buyers must know. Ebay could be concerned that a buyer receives a parcel that has been sent by XYZ company, because it shows their logo or something, so if they want anything else, they can go direct to the company, instead of buying from you.

Where are your suppliers? Are they located in Australia? Apparently any of your items will arrive to me in less than a week. I love the look of your big greenhouse, but would it really arrive to me before next Thursday? (I really do love the look of that greenhouse and would be perfect!)

I clicked on the shipping link in your listings, to see if there was any mention in there about being sent from a different location to your own, and got taken to your eBay Me page. In fact, all the links at the top of your descriptions take you to the same page. I know that has nothing to do with your issue, but it's still something you should fix.

You need to listen to what eBay tells you, because if they restrict you permanently, then that's it. Even if you create a new account, they will block that one too. If anyone else in your house sells, even just as a hobby, their accounts will be restricted too. It does sound like this is your second warning. It could be a case of 3 strikes and you're out.

It could be worth starting a new thread asking if there are any sellers here who drop ship and if so, what procedures do they follow. It could be something really simple that you're missing.

Please keep us posted as this is not the usual type of problem we get here in the forum.

OP, it's absolutely worth doing what tippy has suggested here.

Also, if you do speak to eBay on the phone, at the end of the call ask them to email you a summary of whatever thing it is you need to do/change to comply with their requirements, so you have a written record that comes from them. Also get a reference number and/or an emplyee name/number that you can use to refer back to the call. Could be useful in the future.

I am so sorry. Could you perhaps be given a bionic replacement finger instead? You could request some custom designs such as being able to shoot lasers from it, or activate a jetpack.

One of the emoticons I made was in "honour" of my own hand surgery not so very long ago. I didn't lose a finger, but just having the fingers and hand in general out of operation for weeks was difficult enough. The "finger" emoticon is by someone else, and may it serve you well.

(Unfortunately, I couldn't find any bionic fingers on eBay. However, the Get Smart secret laboratory undoubtedly would have something both clever and insane to use.)
