Trouble printing Click & Send labels.

Anyone else have trouble printing from click & send.

Used to work fine before they changed me to the new system a couple of weeks ago, but now I'm having all kinds of dramas. I'm using ie and I wonder if thats the problem? I keep getting the "ie cannot display this page" screen. Or the print screen is just blank. I often get into trouble straight from the payment screen, so then I have to go looking for the documents I need to print.

It doesnt seem to matter whether I try printing from the web page, or reprinting form my emails, its still takes me several tries before I can get it to work.

Is it just me?

Hmmm, maybe I'll go clear my cookies & cache and see if that helps 🙂

Hi,

I had a similar problem when my account was migrated to the new system. A call to the C&S helpline revealed that I needed to upgrade my version of Adobe to the current one, as I had an older version. I didn't have any other print problems after I upgraded my version of Adobe.

It could be a browser issue (I use the latest version of Firefox and don't have any problems), older versions of IE aren't well supported on new sites, so it could be that if you're using an older version.

I would also check and/or update your version of Java, as the pages use a lot of Javascript.

can only say I used it this morning using IE and it worked okay.

My patience is wearing very thin.

I have cleared cookies, so I'll see how successful it is next time I have to print something. I've had a really busy month, which is great, but this C& S thing is really starting to pee me off X-(

I think I have the latest version of ie, i remember when i updated it C& S used to have a little pop up saying it may not be compatible. They hadnt caught up with the latest version yet 😐

I really dont want to have to change browsers just for that.

Most browsers will allow you to import all your settings, bookmarks (favourites), and any saved passwords, so it can at least be relatively painless to switch if it ever comes to that.

I've had different browsers in the past, but I like to use ie for my ebay stuff. I do have the latest version, cant understand why it wouldnt be compatible.

Doesnt sound like anybody else is having issues, so maybe its just my computer. I think its on it last legs anyway. Starting to get a bit noisy. Maybe its a good excuse to buy a new one.

since I was migrated a few weeks ago my labels have been taking much, much longer to print.

when the print pop up appears it is often blank for YONKS 😉 an abnormally long time for a download ... more than several minutes

however, they do eventually appear

I think I will do as was very helpfully suggested in an earlier post, and check that I am running the latest version of everything I need to

I use FireFox for most of my eBay work; the only exception is sending messages in bulk through eBay Singapore:-)

So I've discovered that when I first enter the C & S website, a line pops up telling me that my browser, operating system & plug in are not suitable. They all have red crosses next to them. The only thing without a red cross is Java. This line pops up for about half a second, if that.

How stupid is that! Not compatible with Vista or ie9, and what is this plug in I am meant to have? I have scoured the site and cant find any information about system requirements, so I guess I'll have to ring them 😐

If I uninstall/reinstall ie, will I lose all my bookmarks and passwords? Or are they saved somewhere?

I finally found the system requirements check.

I clicked on it and it said there was warnings....no kidding.

Clicked on both buttons that check the printing and apparently everything is working fine 😐

I don't think its the system requirements, punch, I had a look and my icons have red crosses too, but I can still use click and send - as of yesterday, touch wood.

I have the same issues that you do. The PDF box that comes up to print the labels is just grey. Nothing l do will bring back the labels and often a grey box pops up with 'Internal error'.

l usually just close the browser down, find the C&S email with the Reprint Labels link on it, and print from there.

No idea why it keeps doing that, everything is updated on this computer and l've been migrated to the new site for yonks.

This issue has just started in the last few days.

Punch, try relinking your C&S account with your eBay ID. It's under the Admin menu in C&S. We've had to do it a couple of times in the past.

Also, there may be some problem with eBay at the moment. I've just checked in My eBay and there are paid sales there but we've had no emails.
