Ebay print postage lable not working

For the last 2 days when I go to print a lable i get a blank screen. Anyone else having this issue? Or know how to fix it. Ebays lack of service department were their normall less then helfful selfs.

A few others have posted on the forum about having issues

Did you ring the call center or Live Chat ?

I am not sure if others have reported it, but it is one of many 'new' issues/glitches/Gremlins that have started getting worse since the AP price changes

I did live chat and was told id be added to their list and to go to the post office. It will cost more to send at the post office and I will have to sort out a lable system and then up load tracking which will take forever when you have a number of parcels to be sent.

I got told the same thing - go to the post office - not really a resolution - do you know if it has been rectified yet ??

Thanks for your reply. I called the chat line on Friday they said it was a known issue with Australia Post and had been reported. They advised they would put in another report. Still not fixed.

Mine is not fixed. I sent two parcels on Thursday through Australia Post but it is too expensive.

Looking into Sendle if its not fixed by tomorrow.

Have you tried using a different browser? That has worked for me in the past. Or maybe try using the new bulk label tool?

btw, it's labour day tomorrow, so ebay aren't likely to fix anything.

I printed a label on Friday with no issues using Google Chrome. I posted it on Saturday morning with no issues, despite the postage increase not being reflected on the site. I got to post the 500g satchel for $7.55. I posted it over the counter to get a lodgement scan and there was no mention of underpaid postage.

Call me thick, but since Monday eBay no longer offer a postage service. Would that have something to do with it?

It might well be that once their wunderchimps have worked out the new postage costs (unlikely given that all 500g eBay listings have been defaulted to medium, not small, parcels) they might well be able to reinstate eBay postage labels.

Or not, given that might require them to employ people who actually know what they're doing. eBay Australia is renowned throughout the land as not fixing issues. And any underpaid call centre operator in Manila who tells you differently is reading from the company line.

I Reported it again today - still not fixed - Agree Australia Post more expensive - plus I bought Ebay Postage bags - no point using them if I am going through Australia Post - What a mess - you would think they would advise people there is an issue

I printed a Small (500g) ebay postage label today ($7.55) with Chrome.
After ready tippy's post - I decided to play it safe & use Chrome instead of IE

I did a live chat this afternoon. I was told to go to the POST OFFICE too to avoid affecting my rating of delivery on time.

i checked Australia Post website regarding the new flat rate of 5kg. It said it would allow 5KG regardless a lesser weight printed. So we can use the old satchels of 500gram, and 3KG. The Australia Post will treat it as 5KG. Good News. We can keep using the old satchels.

However, AP prices are now $8.95+ for a small satchel, whereas eBay have been slack and are charging $7.55.

I know which I am using until eBay get themselves sorted out.

Then I will use the 50 500g satchels I already have.

Because on top of the $7.55, we pay extra on eBay fee and PayPal fee. So eBay gives seller some discount on postage (this WAS the answer I got from live chat when I complained the incorrect postage rate calculated by eBay and undercharged buyers )

You really need to have a look at what fees you are paying. Each charge is individually listed.

Both eBay and Paypal charge their fees on the TOTAL amount of the transaction, regardless of the postage method used. It's been that way for years.

Yes, eBay postage is discounted compared to the equivalent AP service, but you still pay FVFs on postage regardless of what postage method you use.

There is a couple of ways avoiding FVF on postage. We had one buyer emailing us their Australia Post PrePay Postage Barcode which I printed on my printer. I posted to buyer as they could not pick up locally.

If your listing includes postage and the buyer pays postage, eBay will charge FVFs.

If the buyer is mug enough to trust you (given your willingness to bend the rules) then, yes, you can avoid fees on postage. Just the same as pickup.

Which is unlikely to happen often. The thread is about printing eBay labels. If you post using them, it is significantly cheaper than Australia Post, especially until eBay update their prices.

If you post and the buyer pays for postage, FVFs will be charged. No ifs, buts or maybes. AP Prepaid Postage barcodes are NOT a way around it. How many people have one?

Bottom line - you pay eBay FVFs on the total transaction. If you charge $x for postage, that is what you get charged on. If you can send for less(currently by using eBay labels), you win. If you can't, you lose. It pays to keep on top of your business, even if you have a whole 162 listings to manage.

Same here - I downloaded Chrome today and was able to print a label - Finally - cannot print it from Safari - Still an issue and was told to go to the Post office twice - Obviously still have technical issues with this - Frustrating
