Uploading ID

I have read that you have to upload photo ID (passport or licence) for the new silling requirements.

Probably a silly question, but how do you do this? Is it just a matter of taking a photo of my driver's licence and then uploading this image?

So far, all we've been asked for is our driver's licence or passport number, not an actual image.

Okay.....so that would be the 10 digit card number and not my actual driver's licence number which is 4 numbers and 2 letters?

We uploaded the actual driver's licence number (4 numbers and 2 letters here in NSW), and haven't been asked for anything else as yet.

I've been scheduled for changeover on two accounts, one store and one non-store. I also have other stores and non stores that haven't been scheduled yet (I have many accounts). So is probably just random.

What about people who have neither? Why would eBay only offer those two and not something like proof of age. Not everyone drives

So far I have loaded a bank statement > identity not verified

My passport number > identity not verified

A photo of my passport > success!

Most printers have a scan function - you can scan the photo and save it as an image and then there is a space in the ebay part to upload.
