If you are seeking a phone number for eBay (who do not read anyone's posts here) the call center has been closed for several months due to Coronavirus

Live Chat is available (under 'help' at the top of every page)

Or, if you need advice from people with many years experience in all kinds of things 'eBay' (rather than a cs rep reading from a prompt screen) you will have more luck asking for advice here

I cannot find the live chat under the help you mention above. May I ask where is the live chat exact location. I have been looking for support agent to help me some urgent case but unfortunately ebay seems has disable the live support quite a while.

Click on Help at the top or bottom of any page and scroll all the way don to the bottom of the page tha comes up.....Live Chat is definitely there.

The telephone Help line has been closed since early this year.

Given you posted at 1.40am, I'm assuming that's when you tried to access the live chat. It wouldn't be showing as available then, because they would have been closed for the night. Try again during business hours today, and I'm sure you'll find it down the bottom of the help page.

It was showing as available at 4am when I checked Tippy.....and their hours were plainly showing as 8am to 8pm.

Interesting. I've not seen it out of hours before. That said, it's been a few months since I've needed to use it.

I have not heard that the call center which closed due to Covid over a year ago has re-opened

eBay do not read here, so no, you can't call other members on the phone

You might want to start your own thread rather than add to someone else's from last March and you might find other members can help you better than eBay staff
