New ebay logo and formatting

What do you think about the new ebay formatting?

I find the new formatting for checkout, payment, parcel posted and feed back is NOT as good as what we previously had.

The check out symbol is not self explanatory

the dollar sign is ok

the parcel does not look like a parcel at all

now its all one colour - green!!!

It was better before ebay!

My icons are back to the old ones today for some reason. The new ones dont bother me particularly. I did like the .com.au next to the old logo on the top of pages though.

I have to agree with that Bad Angel.

I find it annoying to have to look at the greeting at the top of the page to check which site I am looking at....and even more annoying if I am not logged in and there is no greeting.:O

The font they've used for 'eBay' is really boring. I preferred the old one, which had a bit of style.

When I first saw the new icons, with the dollar sign locked up in a padlock, for half a minute I thought it meant that eBay had taken my money due to some imagined violation!

The new logos are all the same colour, which I don't like. With the old system you could get the measure of what was going on very quickly. Now it's all blue, and what with the unfamiliar icons, it has slown me down. It's not rocket science, I know, in a few days it won't bother me - but I would have liked them to leave it alone.

Another completely pointless change by eBay, when the stuff that really needs doing gets ignored. I would like to buy them a big sign for their office: IF IT'S NOT BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT.

They've made it bolder now. It looks good but they'll probably tweak it some more. They're going for that Wordpress/blog type of font.

Just noticed that the Paid/Postage/Feedback icons have changed back to the original ones. We're seeing changes in real-time, folks. Kind of cool.

I wish they'd fix the real issues too. I still can't post replies in the Answer Centre where they've got the 'floating' reply box (and yes, I've tried all the clearing cookies, cache, changing settings I can think of....still to no avail).

I still have to log in (again!) sometimes when I want to save something in my Watch List, and

Sometimes I have to log in again when switching from My eBay to the discussion boards.

Thank goodness I'm not a seller where it seems to me the capacity for things to go wrong would be extensive (knowing my luck). 🙂

But hey - we've got a nice coloured PLAIN new logo to admire (or not).
