I know that the messaging system is unreliable. My concern isn't whether the sellers have emailed as the messages are in my eBay inbox. The problem is that no copies of any of the Reply messages have gone to my personal email.

Has anyone had buyers saying that they haven't received your messages?

I have had 3 messages since Friday from different sellers that have not gone to my personal email address. They have all been replies to questions and I have had to login to keep checking for messages. All invoices and any original messages from sellers are getting through fine. I've checked the spam and trash and there's nothing there so it must be some kind of eBay Reply to Message problem.

Ebay messages are notoriously unreliable and always have been.

If a buyer/seller says they have messaged you all you can do is believe them as chances are they have done so.

Don't you consider that part of being unreliable?

What it amounts to is that the system does not work as it should, for whatever reason.

Yes they have been bad for about a week now. I'm finding emails in my messages that haven't gone through to inbox ... that's never happened before. And quite a few customers saying they hadn't received my emails. Just have to be on your toes.

I agree that the message system has been worse than normal lately.

I have had buyers not receiving my replies at all as well some just going to their ebay messages and not to email; and I have had many buyer questions not come through to my email (hopefully there have not been any customer queries that have just disappeared altogether)

I'm also not receiving any buyer's messages in my personal email address for the past few days which is so annoying as I now have to keep logging into eBay to see if there are any messages there!

1 St notice communication issues in July '13. Numerous SENT messages to SELLER without a REPLY. Again, late Aug to now, two SELLERS, multiple SEND/REC problems. EBAY confirmation wasn't working either, Obviously, this means SELLERS are loosing SALES and BUYERS are vey frustrated.

myway58
