Dudded buyer here. Thanks for confirming what I was trying to understand just now about two Sendle deliveries. There is no way I would buy if the listing had a Sendle or Fastway/Aramex logo or name on it. The sellers in my case do not use such words or logos anywhere in their listing - it's 'standard parcel delivery'.

This may be of interest to sellers. I have had the Fastway nightmare before and I will immediately dispute the transaction with the seller if my 'Sendle' delivery arrives in the form of (i) a card from Fastway/Aramex saying 'we missed you, please come to a location of our choosing to get your parcel' and/or (ii) a delay more than three days beyond the 7-day estimate. I am not being fully informed as a buyer if delivery details in the listing do not clearly state that a courier is going to be used for delivery.

Hi everyone, any other sellers out there using Sendle on a regular basis? I just used them for the first time to send a large-ish item (about 1.8kg) and their cost is lower than Aus Post, and it's door-to-door Toll courier. Pick up by Toll is scheduled for tomorrow, hopefully all will go well.

Good luck mate, hope it is a success story. I couldn't use them as Australia Post still comes in cheaper for sending 100g poster tubes.

Toll picked up the package as per the booked pickup day. Need to use the Toll website to see the tracking details, the Sendle site doesn't bring in that info. Looks good so far. Nice thing is the delivery cost includes signature-on-delivery.

All courier deliveries are signed for unless the sender gives any other written instructions to the contrary.

If the driver cannot deliver they can leave a card which the receiver can sign to allow delivery to a safe drop spot without a signature.....the signed card is the driver's authority to leave without a signature.

Good news is the package was delivered one day earlier than their estimate, took 4 days, courier picked up on Thursday, and it was delivered today, from Vic to NSW.

Sendle site however doesn't show any tracking info, I had to go to Toll's website to see the tracking details. In fact Sendle doesn't record the tracking number for the delivery at all for some reason, I had to copy the tracking number from the Toll postage label and paste into eBay. On the Sendle site you can't see any of the postage details after your package was picked up by the courier (the link to print the PDF of the postage label disappears), so unless you kept the PDF on your computer or the tracking number somewhere like in eBay, I can't see anywhere to get that info back.

Anyway good experience with Sendle so far, and certainly cheaper than Aus Post for large items.

Sendle is just a business that is large enough to have an account with Toll who will not deal with one off packages from private people. They are only interested in large commercial accounts.

My worry would be that it is one more person handling your parcel....one more chance of something going wrong. At least they are using a courier company with a good reputation, insstead of the likes of Fastway.

I read that Sendle uses Fastway as well, but you don't get to choose which courier delivers your parcel in Sendle. From the horror stories I've read about Fastway it's a good thing my parcel was delivered by Toll.

Please even careful with Sendle. They are a joke. Everything is fine until they stuff up! They lost my ebay parcel $70 worth and now they are refusing to reimburse the cost of the parcel they lost. So basically they are not taking responsibility for losing a parcel they collected by hand from my house and was on their tracking system. I have a buyer demanding reimbursement and I refuse to be out of pocket for their mistake. Not sure what to do but warning people to be careful and think twice. I would never use Sendle again and I would not recommend them. They also don't provide a phone number so all you can o is email them and you get half hearted fake cheerful responses that do not address your problem.

Could not agree more - I was using them for upto 10 parcels aweek with no problems, HOWEVER the last couple of times the parcels were not collected and after 3 days I cancelled the pick up and had a stern phone call to Sendle. There service has become very unreliable.

I then got an email to participate in a pilot of them connecting with ebay. That could be interesting as there service would need to improve. Just have to wait and see.
