why can't I edit my listing

Can anybody tell me why I can not edit the title and description in my item I have list in buy it now format?

I have sold an item and now I have a variation that I can list under "sell similar", but I cant edit the original listing title or description. I know there is a reason, but I cant seem to find the answer anywhere.

the title field and description field con not be clicked on to edit.

there is an ebay message at the top - Some of the fields in this listing aren't editable at this time.

But it doesn't say why

Have you tried picking it up in Seller Hub and using "sell similar" from there?

yes, and just now I have found I can edit that item now. It must be a time thing. I have tested other recently sold items from yesterday and I cant edit them at the moment

Keep in mind, listings with bids are not editable.
