Received an email saying account was restricted. Need to update payment account. Went into account. Message from ebay saying we aren't ready to update. we will sent you an email when ready. You just sent me an email message !!

The email you got to your email address (that was different to the one in your eBay messages) could quite possibly be the same scam email other members have started to post about

Did the email you got to your email address ask for government ID?

If so THAT is a scam email, not a real eBay email
