I just had to say something about the new? format on feedback, where sellers and buyers say exactly how they feel about the product and the seller/buyer.

Some of the sellers really give it to them, its lol stuff and it goes on an on.

Gone are the allowed few nice words, its lines lines of just what they think of them.

Buyers give it back also.

I just love it 😃

Sadly some sellers forget that their potential buyers can see what they have ''given to them''. If I see rude sellers I refuse to buy from them

I am not so sure about it being entertaining or fun but it does give buyers and sellers a good idea of what they may be in for if they upset the other party.

Sellers can block anybody who indulges in nasty feedback but buyers just have to remember and not deal with them if they want a smooth transaction.

Is it just me, or are they making it harder to see feedback and/or listings on the boards?

Makes it a bit hard to help without some detective work, when an OP doesn't give enough info and all you can see is their ID and nothing else.

It has been happening to me too since yesterday. Pages just won't load if you click on feedback from the board, although it is OK on the main eBay website. Listings seem to load fine though.

I first thought I should clear cache and cookies but was reluctant to do so because I didn't want to be logged out of other sites. Then I tried another browser - with the same result. Probably a temporary glitch?

Yes Stawks, it's been happening to me as well for the last few days, it started on Friday so I put it down to the Techs fiddling. I've tried the usual "fix" of clearing cache and cookies etc and that made no difference at all.

It's been more than a coupla days for me - at least a week, if not more.

Listings are not included at all either.

Have had to google more than once to see an ID's listings.

Hoping against hope that it's only temporary, but ebay does like the air of mystery about sharing info about members.

Right now they seem to be OK, but last week many avatars had disappeared and just displayed as blue (default). And on a couple of days I remember that the link to feedback had disappeared altogether. Now it is there, but it does not work.

It's now Friday every day on the board...

They will disappear, then an hour or 2 later re appear for the same user, but have disappeared for someone else.

Try view listings > click user name > then click on FB score.

It's marginally faster, anyway - trying to get to it any other way just makes the page hang, but this way they should each load [relatively] instantly. (I don't think it's intentional for accessing FB from the forum, since clicking on the Fb score from viewing listings also won't load).

Edit - just re-read and realised you also googled to view listings, so maybe that won't work for you 😳 I'm only having difficulty accessing feedback at the moment.

No 'view listings' and no fb

Otherwise, my workaround fopr fb is to click on a particular listing, then on the fb

TBH I hadn't 😳 I don't really pay any attention to that unless someone else mentions something in a thread and I get curious enough to go look myself. 😅

I have noticed some other changes to the forum, though. Sometimes I would visit, type up a reply and hit post, only to get an error message telling me I wasn't logged in and consequently losing my thoughtful and carefully considered essay 😖

That doesn't seem to happen now, so maybe it's an account / sign-in issue, like if you're here as a guest, you get the ability to post under your ID, but it doesn't link to anything? (No idea, I'm just spitballing then connecting the, uh, damp dots while having no IT / programming knowledge at all, lol).

I haven't had that issue. I've just had avatars for some people not showing up, including myself. They all seem to be back now. For now...........

Digi, don't start frantically typing unless you see the bell and the envelope up the top RHS.

If they're not there, you're not signed in.

My Avi comes and goes. Not fussed about pics being there.

I know what you mean and yes, it is sometimes entertaining to be a fly on the wall.

80 characters that we used to have for feeedback was a bit too few but I truly think it has gone the other way now, too many allowed. People would be better with a limit of eg 200 characters so they had to concentrate on the main things they wanted to convey.

I thought it only happened to me.😁
I've put it down to the universe telling me that post wasn't wanted, but still, annoying. LOL

Well, listings work for me, and if I do what you said (go to listings - user name - fb score) it works, BUT if I click on listings and then go to the fb page from there, it does not work... Really weird. 😲
