Has anyone else had issues with refunds through Managed Payments?

i refunded a buyer within 4 hours of payment, so payment was still « processing ». The buyer confirmed he received the refund an hour later, but eBay have deducted the same amount from my bank account yet I never had the funds paid to my bank account so never received the money, the original payment was refunded during processing.

contacted eBay and they have no idea why and they can see the error.

Yesterday I had to « cancel » another transaction, (thought better to cancel rather than refund given what happened previously) so the buyer was refunded by eBay, again payment was processing but this time $21.86 from the original $200 payment has now been debited from my bank account. The buyer received the full $200, i haven’t received any funds as it was processing and then the cancellation cancelled the processing payment. And again eBay CS cannot explain.

Can't help sorry. Any time I've refunded, it's come out of available or pending funds. Maybe try to talk to somebody in CS with a couple of braincells to rub together.

A longshot, I realise.
