Anyone having issues with messages ?

I usually go straight to My eBay and when a message arrives a number appears next to the word messages as it should.

Haven't received any emails which I also usually do when a message is sent to my eBay account.

Today I click on messages and WHAT ? ........................10 unread messages. (going back 6 weeks)

I have 18 going back weeks.

Never thought to check.

Could explain why some buyers and sellers are having trouble communicating.

It's been hit and miss for me for a while Kopes, sometimes I get notifications and sometimes I don't.

I tend to check once a week to see if there's any lurking in there.

Hi Kopes, All good here, all messages and notifications coming through as they are supposed to.

Number next to the Bell, and number next to Messages.

Been a bit glitchy lately, sometimes you can't reply to the email message either.

I have been messaging a buyer to purchase and made an offer but zero response for nearly 2 weeks. (Larger item as well)

I think many are having the same issue, no emails and no number next to message to indicate there are any.

I got that one. Messaging here in community is working.

It's the messaging in normal eBay, contacting buyers and sellers etc. that has problems.

So, I have made numerous offers on items and message sellers without any response.

It seems messages are still not showing as new messages in My eBay and no emails arriving either.

Very frustrating. Sellers are loosing business, these items I have made offers on are not cheap and require pick up. 🙁

I'm also still having trouble receiving messages.

I check daily, even if it shows no messages received.

And I'm not even getting e,ail notifications of a sale. But sometimes later I get the one 'Here's a label......', which is of no interest to me.
