The problem is that international registered is not trackable and therefore you would not have PP protection. I only send by international express, which is trackable. I have not sent anything overseas with C&C, must try it next time, but I have a feeling there is weight limit and my items might be too heavy.

I have used C&S pack and track a couple of times for items to the UK. It is limited to items under 2kg and $500 but is cheaper. Pack and Track is available to US, UK and USA and is eligible for PP seller protection. The couple of items I sent have arrived very quickly ...

It depends on the country, I've won two INR claims from Italy with just the standard C&S stamped at the PO

I think the UK & US may be different

It may also depend on whether a dispute is opened via eBay or PayPal - to satisfy PayPal, you should only have to provide proof of shipping and tracking doesn't actually do that, documentation showing the item was accepted by AP or a courier and the delivery address as it appear in PayPal will.

An eBay dispute will require proof of delivery, and without the Signature on Delivery option, you'd need an online tracking status of 'Delivered'.

C&S was certainly slightly cheaper but can only be used for items over 250g, the item I returned was not a Paypal claim so seller protection was not really a consideration.

I am sure it would be fine for Paypal seller protection but may not qualify for the ebay buyer protection needed for items purchased through the UK & US sites. Very few AP services come up to that standard.
