Jordan 4's 50% Variable Fee Promo

Hey everyone,
So last month I got a promo to sell Jordan 4's and ebay will only take 50% of their normal fees. The T&C's clearly state that the fees won't be refunded straight away and will be sent out "next month", I am completely aware and understand all of this, I've got no complaints.
So accepted the offer (double checked to make sure it was active and valid), I was able to sell a pair of said shoes, authenticated, sent to buyer, everyone's happy. Now "August/next month" has arrived my fees have NOT been credited and the promo is deleted from my expired listings.
I contacted support and they are telling me the same thing they don't see the promo in my expired list and keep asking for screenshots which I don't have and unaware that I should have taken one. Now they are saying I'm full of **bleep**, promo never existed and I've lost my fees.

As a long time member over 10 years this is the 1st time I've witnessed the rumoured scummy behaviour. Has anyone else witnessed the same?
