Have been getting similar message.
I set up my account in 1999, and this based dollar amounts as US.
Have not been able to amend it to AUS$, and eBay helpdesk could not help to amend. Their suggestion and only option. Cancel my account and start again, or create a new Australian account.
If anyone has hints on how to ammed setting account to AUS$, it would be great to hear.

If you are seeing $US, you’re on eBay.com. You need to log into eBay.com.au for AUD.

When you log in to the AUS site, and select the payments tab, it displays a message in red stating you are set to US dollars, and must sign in to the US site.

When you login to the US site, you are unable to modify the payment type. Even setting up with an Australian credit card, the site still displays US $.

Can't help. I wouldn't touch eBay Plus with yours.

You seem to be registered in Australia.

Maybe try the boring stuff - clear cache and cookies, try a different browser, reboot your device, use a computer instead of a phone...
