Details of When I Posted Article Incorrect on Ebay

Hi,

I recently sold an item and sent it with tracking. Later I realized that I hadn't included the "R" at the start of the tracking number so went in and added re-entered the complete tracking. Then deleted the incorrect number.

Later when I went in Ebay showed that I was late in posting the item which was incorrect and the tracking number was not shown. I then re-entered post and tracking number.

How do I contact Ebay to request that Ebay alters the details to reflect the true date that I posted the item. I have the Australia Post receipt, a copy of which I have sent to the buyer. Thank you.

Request a 'defect removal' via HELP (top of page)....use the item number

Wait until the item is delivered - it may not be late. Even then it may not show up on your seller dashboard as a late delivery.

I moved house last year and completely underestimated how long it would take me to get back online, and I had my handling still set a 3 days. When I finally posted them all, 5 items arrived late according to tracking and only 2 resulted in a defect.
