What is it you want other members to do?

Are you talking about the QR code that is suppose to be scanned?

Are you the buyer in this case, or are you talking about the stuff you've just sold?

I have spoken with customer service
Marking the item as picked up removes the option of using pick up code.
Very convoluted the option should be there so I can get the money thanks
rework your front end

that advice makes no sense....

1) if the buyer pays in cash, seller need not worry, because eBay will wash their hands of the 'deal'...

2) if buyer pays eBay via whatever, you need to sight & copy the code, so that the buyer is prevented from saying 'item not received'

BIST....many buyers have not cottoned on yet

The scripted response you go from eBay CS, as said, makes zero sense

How do you intend to prove the item has been picked up, in the event of a dishonest buyer?

eBay are not going to accept be 'marked as picked up' in the event of a dispute

Picked up items require the QR code to be scanned at the time of collection

You mention 'so I can get the money'

If this means the buyer did not pay cash on pick up, hopefully you have fully signed up to and been verified for Managed Payments, and are aware, that as with all new sellers your funds will be on hold for 30 days

But you've marked your own comment as the solution so seems you are happy with what the CS person has said

When you get the code for the buyer on pick up, you need to scan the code with your phone at the time of pick up.
