Hi there,

The buyer confirmed that she received the goods via private message on eBay but not updating the status of order on her end.

I personally delivered the goods to buyer's house. Is there a way for eBay to release the "on hold" funds?

It looks like you havent sold in a longggg time before this you will be treated as a new seller and have to wait the 20 to 30 days.

Ebay do not accept messages as proof of delivery. You have no way of proving the item was delivered in person, so funds will not be released early.

Sending a private message does to prove anything to eBay

Plus the buyer has not left you positive feedback

Was the QR code used as required?

If not, you can't prove anything was hand delivered

Those things aside

You are a new seller and the funds will be on hold for 30 days as you are a new seller, no early release is likely, especially with no feedback

And that is IF

Assuming you fully completed sign up for Managed Payments and were verified to go ahead and start selling

Buyers cannot update order status - all they can do is leave feedback. Which the vast majority these days don't.
