Customer email address not collected

I use Australia post for all my label needs. International orders require an email address be entered. eBay don't collect a customers email address so what email do I enter? I don't feel like asking a customer for this information is going to ensure I can make my turn around time for order dispatch but I'm wondering why there's no email for international orders.

I think I had the same issue doing the label online.

Same with a telephone number - try putting in zeros.

There actually is an email address, maybe not the real customers email address for privacy, but one in the format ''xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@members.ebay.com'', if you were to email this it will get to the member via the Ebay system.

Most of the orders also have a phone number with them, the odd one doesnt,

Under My Ebay, select "Selling/Sold"

Under the Orders tab drop down menu, select All Orders

Click on the drop down arrow on the item

Click on "View Order Details"

On the right hand side under Order you should see "Show Contact Info" with a drop down arrow. CLick on the arrow and it will show you the buyer's email (the email will be concealed) and also the phone number
