Has anyone experienced payments on hold ?
eBay want me to sent items I have sold without being paid . If I was to do it today I wouldn’t get paid until the 20/06.
I am a top rated seller with 3/5 star reviews and 1/4.9 review and all excellent feedback from my buyers . 425 transactions this year and all loaded with tracking and no late transactions .
eBay seems to be kinda bullying me into sending items out before I get paid , has anyone experienced this ? I have been on eBay for 19 years it just doesn’t make any sense . Chatting to eBay I just get we have escalated your case and you hear back from us in 24 48 72 hrs but nothing . No one seems to be able to tell me why my payments are on hold . In meantime I have all these items sold and I ain’t sending out until I get paid . Sounds like a scam sending items out before I get paid .

If you do not send within your handling time, you will get a defect each time and may end up not being able to sell again at all

Not your byer's fault this has happened

What would this 'scam' you speak of involve exactly?

Sounds like you have done something to upset the system. But still need to send the items, and you will get payment on the date suggested. As long as Ebay has your funds you will get it. Send away or you will upset your customer and get a well deserved negative.

I send all my items before I get the funds, but its normally only a day or 2 delay.

Has been the case for about 4 yrs

Your handling time starts when the buyer pays, not after your funds are received via managed payments.

Failing/Refusing to ship as required, will be accruing late shipment defects which will result in your account being restricted.

At a guess, late shipment has probably caused the extra holding period on you funds, as for regular sellers funds are normally processed and available for payout within 48hrs.
