Waiting for funds to clear

Hello,

Just wondering if funds can take longer to reach your bank account given it was sent over the weekend and today is now a public holiday?

Need to pay rent today and received n email 2 days ago telling me my funds had cleared??

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you

Yes, depending on your bank they may not process payments.

With ANZ, I only get payouts the next business day, so if funds were sent Friday, I wouldn’t get them until Tuesday with the public holiday. (One of the things I dislike about MP. With PayPal I could have the funds transferred instantly especially when short of $$$). You’d think with the technology today, eBay would do the same!

My payments from before the weekend are in my account today. My payments for weekend sales didn't clear this week and I will get them next Tuesday.

Processing of funds is calculated in business days.

I get my weekly payments (Tuesday) like clockwork. Money clears same day, usually by midday.

Public holidays do not impact the payout, but it will impact the whether funds are 'available' or 'processing'

Normally, without a public holiday, funds from sales over the weekend clear on Monday and get paid out Tuesday. but if Monday is a public holiday the weekend sales won't clear meaning you wait until the following week payout.
