Has this happened to anyone else?

Just bizarre.....this is one of my ended items yesterday (just before midday)

This is my automatic re-list (now ending at 3.14am)

I woke up this morning to 90 odd relists....anything from items ending at 3am to 5.30 am

WTH?

Wow - I just checked ours. Auctions that ended between 7.30 & 8.30 pm last night have relisted starting between 11.30 & 12.30am this morning!

This has happened in the past with the occasional relist, but not that many all at once.

I'll check them again tomorrow, but have a feeling that they only way they'll change is if I end the lot and relist them again, which is beyond annoying.

Is it just auctions? Or is it also Buy It Now's that are ending (and that they're indiscriminately and slowly relisting)? TIA for your help.

CS just rang me back....are you sitting?

Apparently this is a new policy, which she had in writing in front of her.....we will no longer be able to re-list with certainty of timing!? It is not going to be fixed....it is not site-wide....they are aware of USA issues...

I asked that they put up an announcement about this and to also change their automatic re-listing policy.

I asked if she has ever sold on eBay....no

I said 'it will be Monday in USA, tomorrow, so lookout for the backlash.'

She is passing on my complaint to R&D....

So, atm we are on our own to fix up this SH!T

I just answered the How Did We Do email:

CS staff was very well-mannered. I had no issue with her....but the information I was given about new policy changes (unannounced) beggars belief!

Ours went in to unsold last night, but eventually relisted a few hours later.

Can't believe the times will be random!

We schedule our auctions to come off at the times that seem to give the best results.

An auction ending in the middle of the night, or at times our buyers aren't used to, or aren't at the computer, is a surefire way to generate less bids (I know some people use snipers, but others - like us when we buy - prefer to watch and get a feel for the auction, then bid at the end).

"Enhancing our experience" again.
