Vehicle insertion fee scam

On my last payout I got short changed by $8.80 without any description or explanation it took me awhile to figure out that it was a insertion fee for a car I listed last month

Couple of days ago I got charged $8.80 again even though duration was good ‘till canceled
Does eBay charge vehicle insertion fee monthly?

I don't know, but from your description, it sounds as if they may.

I'd go into the selling pages/Help and have a read up about it. It will lay out the exact fees and so on in there.

Always a good idea to know what you're up for before you commit.

I know that selling cars seems to come under a different category/pricing format than your normal items.

So what is the scam! You are being charged the applicable rate and all fees are clearly stated by ebay.

What did the t&c you agreed to outline?

Did you cancel before the 'roll over' date of the month?

Does it say if you cancel part way through the month you will still be charged as per the whole month?

Nothing to do with another member's 'understanding' we do not make the policies/t&c or make your listing or tick the box we had read and agreed to etc

If you were charged something other than what you agreed to pay, report it

If you were charged something other than what the t&c stated, report it

If you believe it is a scam then report it

If you do not like the information provided by other members when you ask other members, ask eBay instead

They will provide you with a scripted response which will not be based on anything except 'getting you off the line' as soon as possible

Seems you don't understand - ' good till cancelled ' - it simply means the listing will be renewed automatically - and the listing fee charged - monthly - unless cancelled by the seller.

Yes that is exactly what it is, items are renewed every month, unless sold or cancelled.
