How to change an incorrect postal tracking number after posting item

I sold an item and entered an incorrect tracking number after posting. The item was delivered. My payment is on hold until my item registers as delivered which it won't because I entered the incorrect tracking number. How can I enter the correct number. I cannot contact anyone from Ebay to get this problem resolved. Thanks.

Hi there, Go to ORDERS and select the relevant item.

Next to the tracking number you have entered is an edit tab, use that and from there you should be able to add the second (correct) tracking. From memory you won't be able to remove the original tracking that was added, unless ebay have changed it.

Anyway, if funds are being held as a new seller, tracking showing delivered by itself does not mean the funds will be released early. You will also need +ve FB, and then you can contact ebay and request early release of funds, but note the early release is solely at ebays discretion
