We are still selling to the USA its a bit of a pain but I think its still worth it. Just need to make sure you are set up with Australia post and Zonos. When a buyer buys something in the US we just send them a message that there is X amount of tariff to be paid before there item is sent, if there not willing to pay or don't reply then I cancel the order. For the tariff I just send them a item link to pay. If you do the same thing as us, just remember everyone one wants money, so you charge for the tariff + admin for zonos and ebay will want fees too. So might be $40 for the item. Tariff is $4, zonos admin is $1.69 + Ebay fees we charge $1.69 again. Total $7.38 to the buyer which should cover everything. If its a higher amount then just charge more on the Ebay or Zonos fees so it covers your costs.

As I opted out of selling to the USA because of the tariff debacle I was surprised and frustrated to still have sales recently to the US.

I looked into it and one of the selling destinations is North and South America.

So it looks like you have to also opt out of that one also but it includes Canada as well as other countries.

I've raised the point to ebay I hope that they will address it?

I'm sick already of having to cancel sales because of this as well as the postage problems.

Just my little rant. Feel a bit better now also after chatting with ebay about this.

You also need to tick the option - Has a Primary address I don't post to. Or something like that. It has always been a 2 stage process - simply blocking a country is not enough.

That's pretty dodgy - not to mention that it breaches eBay policy.

BTW, you forgot to mention the 10% Zonos charge
